先前看过对这部片子的推荐文章，对这片子大加褒扬。但是看完之后感觉主题很好，男主角形象和表演也不错，但是非常可惜，故事就像是温吞水，没有波折，没有高潮，没有感染力。可能是因为没有交代清楚维尔伯福斯反对贩奴的思想发展脉络，因而显得缺乏说服力，观众也很难体会主人公的激情。主角塑造过于完美，感觉难以亲近。另外，看这片子需要一定的历史知识背景，比如约翰牛顿的生平、比如当时的历史时期，都跟故事很有关系。看来这也是一部主旋律片子吧。当然，人家的主旋律是蓝白红。Amazing Grace 这首歌也好听，放狗搜下也能找到不同版本的演绎，各有各的风味。
